Jontie Hays received her Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University in 1993.  After the mandatory two year supervisory period, she was licensed in 1996.

Before entering into private practice, Jontie Hays worked as:

  • Clinical evaluator of admission critera for inpatient psychiatric hospitals
  •  Victim Advocate with victims of violent crimes at the Office of the State Attorney in Tallahasse and Quincy Florida. She continues to work with and receive referrals from local law enforcement victim advocacy groups as well as the local offices of the State Attorney in St. John's and Flagler counties.
  •  Residential treatment programs for for troubled teens providing individual, group and family therapy
  • Intensive outpatient partial programs providing group therapy
